"The Order was issued is to provide for public and firefighter safety within the Cochiti Canyon Area during the current critical fire weather.
The restricted area is the Cochiti Canyon Area and includes Forest Road 89 from the intersection with the Forest boundary to the community of Pines and the area ¼ of a mile on either side of Forest Road ... See More89 from its center line, in the Jemez Ranger District of the Santa Fe National Forest. It is illegal to:
(1) Enter or be in the Cochiti Canyon Area; (2) Possess or use a motor vehicle off National Forest System roads within the Cochiti Canyon Area; (3) Use any motor vehicle on National Forest System roads within the Cochiti Canyon Area, or (4) Be upon or use any motor vehicle upon forest development trails within the Cochiti Canyon Area. "”
