Sea of Joy rappel chains as of May 2018. It appears to be in good condition, and they extend over the edge. We rappelled with two 60m ropes.

This is the route we took, with approximate belay locations and the rap chains. Climbing more to the right at the start would have been more aesthetic, perhaps, but there didn't appear to be very good pro, so we stuck to the trees.

Base of the route. Correct start will be on the northeast of the formation. If you continue up the trail to the left, beware starting up the seal on the southeast of the formation as this is the detached formation The Pup.
