Marsha on the way up Castle Peak, near Aspen. My favorite fourteener run, even though it doesn't start from the top.
Clicked in and ready. Castle Pk summit in back (easy hike).
Looking towards Idaho's City of Rocks from the summit of Mount Harrison. There is a road to the top, but we hiked it because of snow closure.
Kelso's couloir from I-70. Actually this mountain has three nice couloirs, all of which take you down to the road or Grays trail.

Kirk and I skied this gully, off the Muir Snowfield. The blue is where one has to climb back up to the Muir Hut "trail". Descending to the Nisqually Bridge is very rough going, no trail.<br> <br> (COOLPIX L22)
