Alpine approach. Looking down where the start of the gully is. Second Hamongog, is just left of the pine trees. If your going down, this is where the trail leaves the gully and goes left.

This guy was buzzing around us as we were topping out the Lowe Route.

I found this tree to be key beta for the Alpine approach (which is a bit confusing near the top). I have done both Alpine and Jacob's Ladder and really can't figure out which is worse. . .

Nice day in the cirque

Alpine approach. Go right and up here looking for the 8' tall dead tree stump. This is where the trail forks, not far from the 2nd Hamongog.
