North face of Sharksfin. The North Face route climbs cracks and shallow right facing corners left of the right arête. The North Face - Left Hand route (5.8) follows cracks further left. Sharkstone climbs the diagonal crack system just right of the dead tree around onto the east face.

Starting up the north face route. If you stay near the right edge, there's no gear for a while, but the climbing is easy on positive knobs. Be careful, though, since the rock is often hollow sounding, and I had a few holds move on me.<br> Photo by Ken Parker.
