My Partner, John was discussing something at the base with a passerby as I hang on for deal life. When John reached the top he told me that discussion:<br>
Stranger: "Your friend is up there in the sun in this heat?"<br>
JD: "Yeah"<br>
Stranger: "That's something you don't see everyday. No shirt huh? (chuckle)"<br>
JD: "No... ?"<br>
Str: "He's going to grease up his traverse. Where's his chalk bag?"<br>
JD: "He doesn't carry one."<br>
Str: (laughing again) "Well, that climb is not for everyday use." (walks away)<br>

It was an obtuse comment, but let's just say I got the point.
