This is the start of The Daddy. My first time in the Amphitheater I climbed Good Heavens thinking it was The Daddy. Have not seen a pic looking right up the start, so here it is.

Just sended The Daddy on follow on my first trip to the Amphitheatre in my Merrell trail hikers. Forgot my shoes at the rack rock.

When you go off route....and end up at a hanging belay on a classic 5.6. Ahahaha!

Alcove belay station suggestion. Use the rock behind you as back rest and pinned "microwave rock" straddle for one of the most comfortable belay from the top positions on the route. edge pro (out of picture) on other side of this rock.

This crack eats .3 cams for breakfast lunch and dinner, higher is better and climbing is easier to the left and out of crack, you can rap off the block just below the flake and not leave gear, pulling rope is difficult tho, recomend pulling from p1 ledge
