Let's face it, MP forums don't always have the best content for keeping oneself occupied, with the occasional trolls and flame wars, especially when the weather is bad and people are getting testy. What are your favorite climbing blogs to read? Informative or just plain entertaining? Here's some that I've ran across worth reading, please add to the list, I'm sure there's plenty more out there I haven't run across yet, or have forgotten to add.
Dane Burns - Winter related - ice climbing/skiing, plenty of gear discussion. coldthistle.blogspot.com/ Will Gadd - ice/mixed climbing, paragliding, mountain sports willgadd.com/?cat=1 Colin Haley - Alpine climbing colinhaley.blogspot.com/ Kelly Cordes - Alpine climbing, etc kellycordes.wordpress.com/ Mark Anderson - MP's own - climbing, training. New blog, I find Mark's writing is usually quite informative and fun to read (route descriptions, training etc) and looking forward for more. lazyhclimbingclub.wordpress… Jonathan Siegrist - sport climbing adventures jstarinorbit.com/ Ryan Palo - The Paleo diet - sport climbing ryanpalo.blogspot.com/ Joe Kinder - sport climbing joekindkid.com/ Dave MacLeod - climbing badassness across the pond davemacleod.blogspot.com/

I read semi-rad.com for fun writing and adventures a little closer to my level than a pro. I can realate to almost every post in someway and still find it gets me motivated for more.

Three of my favorites are: joekindkid.com/ zenetopiaclimbing.blogspot.… lazyhclimbingclub.wordpress… Joe Kid is a great blog going back a few years. Lots and lots of videos and good writing plus it's updated constantly. Worth checking out for sure. Zenetopia is a really good read (maybe the best I have come across?) having a good combo of real life and climbing. The writing is pretty deep and explores a lot of personal struggles and great climbing/goals. Seems there is a filming/documentary of some kind following this project too. The Lazy H is a pretty good read. Decent writing and insight and follows the training and goal setting needed to be a better climber. Really emphases the training and preparation aspects of climbing.
