Rocky Top Climbing

Rocky Top is the place to go for fun, flexibility, and a family-friendly atmosphere. We provide climbing and fitness in Charlottesville's only public climbing gym. We have tons climbing and bouldering along with challenging routes that are changed weekly. New state-of-the-art holds and volumes add complexity and dimension to our climbing wall. We offer instruction and rent the equipment you will need for a great climbing experience.

Can your courage overcome your fear? It is not about physical strength but footwork, positioning, and technique. Anyone can learn to climb. If you're interested in learning or perfecting your climbing skills, this is the place for you.

Rocky Top's climbing walls have routes for the beginner and ones that will challenge the expert climber. We welcome first-time climbers, groups, birthday parties and we offer rental harnesses and climbing shoes.
