This isnt me promoting me selling holds to everyone here

I'm considering selling 3d printed holds on etsy but I'm wondering if there would actually be a market for them. I have tested them at home and I'm a small local gym and they hold up perfectly and would survive the constant use and forces.

Just wanting to see if there would actually be a market for something like this or not

Yeah, but doubt it will be of meaningful in the way of providing income at this point in time. Holds are relatively cheap as is, and 3d printed ones are at this juncture, more expensive (as for as I have seen).
A cool thing I have seen utilizing 3d printing is making copies of holds on a project route by scanning it with lidar so they can then print and train. This is a very good application of it. but I would still likely 3d print, make a mold, then make the holds using that mold by traditional means of or pouring resin if I were trying to make a lot of the same hold.

I am sure as the technology advances and costs / speed improve, it will become more viable....5-10 years? longer? IDK.

Personally i will probably never buy a plastic hold.

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
