Well, been giving advice on here for a long time and hoping for a return on investment. Getting relocated from La Sal, UT to Denver for work. My duty station is next to the airport. Looking for neighborhood ideas with reasonable access between climbing/biking and work. Thanks for any ideas and of course I’m gonna die.

I think the I-70 corridor west of I-25 will be your best bet. Arvada and Wheatridge have better access to the front range and mountains and are more walkable, but a few minutes further from the airport. Chaffee park and Globeville (north of 70) are nothing much as far as neighborhoods go, but are centrally located for your purposes. Sunnyside (S of 70) has good restaurants and things to do, albeit rent and houses come at a premium. East of 25 neighborhoods Thornton, broomfield, commerce city, Stapleton and north Aurora are each so far from the mountains that I think the time saved on your commute would not be worth the added time to get to fun things. If you like biking a lot, being near cherry creek state park could be a consolation - further from climbing, but close to your work and decent mountain, gravel, and multiuse path biking.
I live in Chaffee park neighborhood, around I-70 and federal; my bike ride to front range crags is within 1-1.5 hrs along a path (drive is 15-20 minutes), 30 minute drive to Boulder crags and Eldo, 60-90 minutes to RMNP. And yet, the drive to the airport is only 22 minutes without traffic. The location is a pretty ideal balance IMO, but I would prefer to be a bit further west so it would be a *quick* ride to nearby boulders and crags. Hope that helps, welcome to CO!

Moving to Denver from Lasalle is to me definitely a death sentence. My daughters and orthopedic doctor are in Denver so I go there way more than I like too. I hate big cities.

if you are working out by the airport i am guessing you will want to try to minimize your commute a bit. if it were me, i would see if the train to the airport stops anywhere close to work, and try to use that to commute. then, look at areas that are within a mile or so from various train stations for a place to live.
