Got a custom Xpac stuff sack for my belay jacket - multipitch 'bag-of-warmth'
|
Couldn't find anything off-the-shelf of this size so had one custom made from etsy. Super happy with the results! Kept me warm in the shade all day. I've never racked a down jacket and never used belay gloves before - what welcomed learnings for comfort. Ha! I don't have the skills to MYOG but this was a super fun thing to have commissioned. |

what is "this size"? |
|
i started by measuring the stuff sack the jacket came with and then decided to make it slightly taller and skinnier so it would be less bulky |

Awesome idea! |

Kick-Ass idea. |

Came here hoping this had to do with D-Generation X and was disappointed. Then saw your cool idea and was no longer disappointed. Very cool |
|
What'd it cost you? |

boy, if you could take that and add some little mini compression straps on the sides, a la the Slumberjack sleeping bag compression stuff sack, might be able to get it even more compacted |

If you’ve ever sewn circles or cylinders you know $54 is a good price lol my ice screw pouch I made about did me in! |
