Bolivia mountaineering (skiing?) late April early May

I work in the seasonal outdoor industry and wanted to get on some big glaciated peaks before summer work starts. Considering a 2-3 week trip out to Bolivia for some early season mountaineering. I’m most interested in moderately technical routes, AI2/3/4 M3/4 sort of stuff. The South face of Illimani is a good example but there are many other options in the cordillera real. This is very much early season for Bolivia so weather would be fickle and flexibility would be key. Slogging moderate snow in Sajama could be a backup. I could also be convinced to bring skis if someone was really keen.

Anyone else planning to be out there or interested in a trip? Just putting feelers out.

I am thinking about Bolivia mountaineering too at the same time. No skis but I have all the gear otherwise. Will let you know in a couple of weeks.

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
