Route climbing was done prior to the bouldering out at Rocktown.

The walls in your pictures are host to a lot of different routes including many used by Boy Scout groups to top rope over the years.

Marvin Webb, Dawson Wheeler, Rob Robinson, Chris Watford, and Bob Cormany could probably provide more details or any documented information.

One common theme in the southeast is that most of these climbs were done over 30 years ago and the memories get a bit fuzzy. But go plug some gear!

I worked at a summer camp and we would set up top ropes on a lot of that stuff for campers. I do also remember seeing some fixed nuts on what appeared to be some pretty hard looking climbs. Get after it!

Not sure any of that stuff ever got named but all done for years. Go check them out.
