I've placed multiple orders with Epic TV, including one I just received last week. Free shipping if you order > $150, no customs duties if the order < $800. They ship via DHL and I usually receive my orders in 4 days.

I haven't ordered from them specifically yet but I order pretty much everything climbing related from retailers outside the United States (Olinuid, Trekinn, Barrabes, etc) because prices are vastly cheaper.  Basically keep your order under $800 and there is no tariff issues or shipping concerns for you..UPS, DHL, or whoever the shipper is will deliver the package like normal. They are a legit store/climbing content youtube channel.

Great to know, thanks. Do you know how much shipping is on orders under $150? Any idea why they are so much cheaper than anywhere else?

Just put the items in your cart and start the checkout process, you'll have your answer.  Climbing gear in Europe is significantly cheaper.

It would definitely be under $800. I've known about their climbing content but didn't know much about their shop. The shoe I was looking at is usually $209 but epic tv lists it at $120. I'll look into the retailers you listed for sure

This is normal, I wear Tenaya Mundakas which my climbing gym sells for $194.99 I ordered a pair from olinuid a month ago for $95 US prices are terrible.  Another tip join the AAC and you won’t believe some of the discounts you get access to through the discount site from that membership

Bananafingers (same biz as epic tv) shipping to US was around $30 for a pair of shoes two weeks ago. Pretty reasonable, still a better deal than most stateside sites. If you’re smart (unlike me this time), you’d just add a few lockers or slings to get to $150 instead…  Shipping thru DHL has been very fast, usually a few days to the US northeast

My question is… does anyone have experience shipping returns to an EU shop? BF site says to label the box as a return item to avoid custom troubles. When we went to the post office, the clerk said the landing fee would be like $50, paid by the receiving party… That might have been because the actual value was listed for mail insurance (the BF site says to claim “a minimum value of 5eu”) BF customer service hasn’t been that helpful in clearing things up. Anyone who has sent a return back through USPS before have any advice? Guessing the move might be to say the package is worth nothing to avoid the landing fees and hope it doesn’t get lost. Looked at UPS and FedEx rates and they were more than what we paid for the shoes lol.

^^in my experience regarding returns to an international shop you should look into reselling the item for a profit instead.  That’s what I’ve done when I was trying out the fit of different shoe models

that is/was the plan- trying to sell them at cost, which is still over 25% off us msrp. if anyone needs a pair of instincts in size 38.5, look at the for sale forum lol

mostly was curious in case we get no bites reselling

I’ve bought a couple of things from there and never had any issue. It’s one of the first places I look if I want a sale and don’t want to buy secondhand.
