Need help finding bouldering terms in french

I'm trying to learn french and having a hard time explaining exactly what I do for fun to my online tutors. Haven't found much useful online, but am not the best google master. Quelqu'en m'aide? |

i am a boulderer, une bloceuse, and this is what i say: A boulder- un bloc, or better to say un gros caillou or une petite falaise Bouldering area- site de bloc, zone de bloc, secteur Bouldering zone/sector- same Boulder problem- no you just say un bloc, Route- un voie, but only for sport climbing Bouldering (verb)- faire du bloc slab- dalle vertical- what do you mean? overhang- dévere overhanging- dévere steep- raide, or you can say toit if it is a roof. dévere or toit is most common. superplomb exists but it isn't said as often. hold- prise crimp- reglete, or just regle sometimes sloper- slope slimper (sloping crimp)- regle de merde sidepull- vertical but emphasis on the CAL gaston- epaule but you'll have to make the gesture as this is a very weird term outside of climbing. People won't know what you mean. undercling- inverse backstep- carre externe drop knee lolotte mantel- reta (short for retablissement) heel hook- talon toe hook- contrpointe or you can say spatule which is a bit odd but easier to picture reachy- morpho grade (difficulty)- cotation or just cote good landing- bad landing spotter- we just say parade, like the verb. j'ai besoin un parade stp to spot (the verb)- parader bouldering pad- brush (the noun)- brush (the verb)- dab- touche tick- tické power spot- pousse these terms are going to sound very weird to someone who doesn't take part in bouldering. you might also say things like: salle de bloc, salle d'escalade, jeux olympique, discipline d'escalade sur les petite falaise, sans corde, on pousse la difficulté et le complexité de les mouvement, entrainement, reussi/enchaine, chemin, depart debout, depart assis, etc. |
