I am planning a two month trip to Leonidio for Jan and Feb. I have mixed warnings about it possibly being hard to find partners as a solo climber due to there not being as much of a central hang as other places (e.g. Turkey) and also potentially fewer English speaking folks. Anyone have informed opinions on this? Also, how is the climbing quality, quantity and density in the 7b-8a+ range? It looks amazing!
I can’t speak to Jan or Feb but it’s likely getting more and more popular during that time. I have spent the last two months of March there. There’s a cafe where climbers hang (Panjicka). There’s also a FB group for the area where you could find partners. I also don’t climb as hard as you but would imagine it to be great for those grades.
Just came back from 2 weeks there. Don't think you'll have a problem finding partners, almost everyone can speak decent English. Plenty of high quality lines in those grades of all styles (steep, vert, mono tufa, etc...)
I was there for three weeks last January (with friends) and suspect that if you hang out in the Panjika cafe and are outgoing, you’ll be totally fine. It’s definitely a central hub that a lot of climbers frequent.
I'll be there late December - mid January with a pretty big group and some of those people will be there the whole month of January.

I'm going to Leonidio on a solo trip from 1/10 to 1/31 and would love to find some partners! Looking to climb 7-8a tufa lines! Feel free to message me :)
I only climb up to 6b+ or sometimes 6c+. Do any of you climb those grades? Am I likely to find partners at those grades if I just show up? thinking of anytime until end of March.
