Time to get this started.

Anyone near Helper/Price know if the Dirtcicle is starting to form yet?

It is, but last pictures I saw it was not in. Where in MI are ya from? I am from Wisco, and climbed in Munising a few times.

Drove by...GWI  looks like it has enough ice to climb for a few pitches before it gets warm.

Someone climbed golden spike on Saturday - looked like there wasn’t any ice in there.

if you zoom in you can see tracks up into the gully and then down the descent route.

Anyone tracking anything down by Parowan or Joes?  Insight for Cascade Falls or Hidden Haven?

From a bouldering friend, he said Deadbolt was starting to form up nicely in Joes.  No photos tho.

Someone on fb posted a picture of hidden haven over the weekend, was not in.

Went up to November wall on Sunday, quite fragile, the weather has done no favors up there.

Drove by yesterday.  Warm weather trashed it.

From today, confirmed it would need some cold days to be climbable again.

Hogum right looked close, maybe after the storm and subsequent cold temps. First pitch maybe thin and climbable now but hard to say and probably not worth it.

Scruffy had verglas and thin ice in the middle/top of the climb, the steep part was a black streak. A cold streak could form it a bit thin (it did this last year, was climbable for 1-2 days). Maybe next weekend if it stays cold? No pic.

Any eyes on some of the fickle early-season Wasatch routes?  Rookie Party? Robert's Horn?

Fine! I'll go up there myself.

Rookie party appears to be non-existent

The tree directly over the climb to the left runs over a rock edge so I’d be careful. Maybe the tree farther back would work better. Also you might be better off lowering and top belaying due to the length of the climb. A traditional TR would probably need two ropes tied together and have enough rope stretch to give you a broken ankle.

I haven’t walked off, so maybe someone else can chime in on that.
