any reason to not go up the west ridge of prusik next weekend? not looking to climb any vertical snow, but from the looks of the forecast it’ll be dry and nobody’s reported any snow yet in the area. anything i should be aware of other than obviously shorter days, colder temps, etc.

Sounds like fun if the weather cooperates. Things can change quickly up there, as long as you’re prepared for wintry conditions you’ll most likely be fine. Might be some good intel on the WTA website

I would be surprised if it's not snow covered by this weekend. It's been wet and cold in Leavy and it is even forecasted to dust here this week.

If you're using Mountain-Forecast, be aware that it can be... optimistic.  NOAA is a good resource, as is Windy and Meteoblue.  I'm sure there are other options too, but I am familiar with those.

The forecast did a 180 from what it looked like on Monday. Maybe do the feathers traverse hip belay style to get your fix.
