Is the Butora Sierra a LS Kataki replacement?

Anyone have experience with both? I love my ls katakis and can't find a replacement I like as much. I got an ad for the new Sierras from Butora and they seem like they're trying to accomplish something similar.

After several resoles to soften them up, OG Katanas with Stealth give me a similar feeling to the Kataki. Especially if you're looking for a comfy flat-toe fit for thin jams while still providing precision for edging.

Someone had a pair of Kataki 46's for sale in the Appreciation thread you posted in, but that was a while ago. I empathize deeply with your plight, and wish you the best on your quest.

I haven’t fact checked this or looked at the lasts, but the katanas are absolutely narrower in the toe box when I’ve tried them on (both versions) when compared to my katakis (both men’s and women’s)
