What material quicklinks are you using with Sport Bolting ( formerly Climbtech) mussy hooks

With 316 stainless mechanical bolts/hangers or 316 stainless glue ins for bolts what material quicklinks are people using to connect with Sport Bolting mussy hooks? Are you using 316 stainless to match the bolt/hanger or are you using zinc plated steel to match the mussy hook...or some other combination? There is going to be a mismatch of material somewhere in the system and curious how others are doing it since i've gotten different answers from people I know. |

Stainless quicklink on the bolt, then a plated quicklink connected between the Stainless quicklink and the mussy hook. |

Also if your anchors will corrode before they wear out, I'd recommend these instead of plated mussys: https://hownot2.com/products/304ss-10mm-spring-hook-carabiners |

I use SS Quicklinks 304 or 316, it's easier to open up the qls when they're not corroded shut and you don't get the ugly rust staining on the bolt. They also don't notch as quickly as plated on sharp edge hangers like the fixe ones. |

Stainless quicklinks so they don't rust shut. I agree with those stainless captive eye carabineer over mussys in general because they're safer- Two mussys side-by-side gates out are possible to accidentally double unclip. A popular compromise is one mussy as the wear component and an offset stainless carabineer for redundancy: This can confuse people too, but I think it's becoming more widely preferred and educated on by various climbing organizations |

Has anyone long term seen that using a stainless quicklink causes the mussy hook to rust/corride quicker than carbon ( I don’t think I’ve ever actually seen a rusted one of these mussies anywhere)? |

I messaged Karl and asked his recommendation is using stainless quicklinks the zinc plated steel quicklinks cause rust quicker on the hook |
