Opening map closes mountain project app

Every time I open the map and start looking around the app closes. I have the latest update and have tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app. The app works normally until I open up the map

Happens for me all the time too. I think it works a little better in the browser 

MP mods just released a fix for this. Download the new version.
