How is Three Sisters / Alderfers looking?

I was up at the pirates cove area about two months ago when the rest of the park was closed and the way they thinned the forest made me not want to come back. I understand it was for a good reason, but it turned the pirates cove area into a sunbleached wasteland.

Id love to take some friends up to the Child’s Play and Eggs areas but Idk if they are at all worth going to this year. Has anyone been there recently? If so it is still pleasant?

Gillian’s island was the least effected but yea, mitigating 100 years of overgrowth is going to be ugly. I’m not excited by the destruction, but it’s better than the alternative. I’d give it more time if it bugged you last time. Also there is a lot less shade  now.

The Eggs area was open during the forest thinning. I think it was unaffected but the other side of the trail from the Eggs was thinned.

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
