BD Vapor Helmet - cushion insert replacements

I took off the Velcro inserts from my 2017 Vapor helmet to clean, only to have them eaten by my washing machine (the top of the head pad delaminated, and the forehead insert has disappeared altogether).

Can’t seem to find replacements anywhere.
Has anyone had success replacing inserts with another material, which won’t cause irritation when wearing and sweating in the helmet?

I could replace with a Petzl helmet replacement foam, but would love to hear some other options.

In use since then? "Splurge" on a new helmet. (Coming from a cheap ass)

I emailed BD a few years back b/c I couldn't find replacement pads for my helmet and they just sent me some for free. It was kinda rad and unexpected so maybe just ask them.

Welp, based on this, I just wrote them this email:

Fingers crossed it has the appropriate effect.

They sent me two sets of vapor pads at no cost and were happy to help
