 First: LL Bean Microlight 2. A very basic , approx 4lb tent. Pretty rugged, waterproof, easy to set up, two doors and vestibules, freestanding, spacious inside. Nothing fancy but a great option for car camping or short hikes. And affordable! $75 shipped to lower 48  Second , Sierra Designs Studio 2 tent. Sub 3 pound lightweight 2 person tent. Almost but not quite freestanding. I used it a lot for bike packing because it packs small and has short poles. I have footprint for it as well. Black mesh makes for nice stargazing on clear nights. One vestibule and one door in front. $125 shipped      |
