Do I need a Timed Entry Pass for Lumpy Ridge in August?
|
Hi all, One more dumb question: For Lumpy Ridge, Do I need a Timed Entry Pass? Or any specific pass? Thanks for any info!~ (and GLD, I did try to look online, could not find info on specifically Lumpy. lol) |

Yes, but the window outside of Bear Lake Road is 9 am to 2 pm, so it’s very easy to get there before it starts for the day. Bear Lake Road starts at 5 am, so you need to be up very early. You’ll need a park pass as well. |

Technically yes, you need a parks pass and timed entry between 9-2. However I have only seen a ranger once at the trailhead hanging with the volunteers that are there. Otherwise, in many trips I have only seen the volunteers at the trailhead. (They don't ask for passes, just give out info.) |
