Was hiking to Sunday lake today and passed by a large wall that was bolted. Couldn’t find any info about the routes. Anyone have any information about the crag?

Could be the North Fork Crag, which is in the back of the latest snoqualmie rock guidebook by Kurt Hicks. Don't see it on MP. Lots of steep routes, all 5.11-13, but unknown current bolt conditions. Many were bolted in the early to mid 90's, could be some ticking time bombs (MP thread).

There was some routes that had been rebolted at North Fork when we visited last summer, but others that had completely rusted through bolts still. Maybe about 50% of routes rebolted as an estimate. Unfortunately, Ive been told some folks want to keep it off MP for some reason so not sure if it will get more love and work to be updated with new bolts. I hope so, it's a great wall and happy to share any details about specific routes.

As an aside, North Fork I believe is not on any existing trails so doesn't seem to match the above description

This is likely something that Michael Madison has been working on or would know about, he’s responsible for most/a good portion of the rebolting and development in the North Fork

Hello Asaf - I've been bolting out in that area for the past few seasons.  Currently there are 22 finished routes on five different walls.  The wall you posted the pic of has three routes, 5.10c, 5.9, 5.12b/c, and I definitely plan on putting up more in the future.

This season I've been focused on retro bolting the North Fork Crag.  It's a slow process but I've finished 17 routes, some new additions, and perma-drawed most of them.  I asked to keep this off of MP as the NF crag is on private property and they have been actively logging next to it.

Let me know if you want any more info, it would be great to get some traffic on the routes.

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
