Washington Pass trail conditions
|
I saw highway 20 opened up pretty recently and I was wondering if anyone has been out there to report on how much snow there is and if touring is necessary. Thanks! |

All trails is the place to go for this. Usually lots of conditions reports on the popular trails. Here is Blue Lake Trail...plenty of pictures and reports from the last week. alltrails.com/trail/us/wash… |

I got on sw couloir of sews this weekend, there is still continuous snow from the blue lake trailhead. Snowshoes or skis recommended, snow was mushy overall. another dude postholed his way up to sews so that is possible hah. Rock routes on the south faces are looking dry enough especially with the better weather incoming |

Hey all, been out a couple of times to the liberty group, last week and this week. I was up there today and there were a ton of people climbing on the SEWS, I tried to go for liberty bell but the snow going up the beckey gulley was super loose and I ended up slipping a bunch and had to self arrest a few times so I turned back. The NEWS the SEWS are pretty easily accessible and seem good to go. Liberty bell you would probably want to wait another week or two until the snow clears out from the gulley. There's still about 3 feet of snow on the trail but its definitely melting pretty quickly. null This photo is from last week, all the peeks looked clear of snow today from the ground aside from a few ledges here and there. |
