Hi MP,

My apartment is has a lot of empty wall space. I really would like to liven it up with climbing related art/photos, however I am a bit picky.

  • I'm absolutely not interested in generic climbing stuff, featured celebrities, magazines, or anything from brands (IE: Petzl, Black Diamond posters).
  • I'm only interested in original artwork or photographs/prints from independent artists and small-businesses. I'm willing to commission if I really like your style.

I love artwork that features crags and locations, and stuff with topos is really cool! Similar to Alex Buisse's Mont Blanc Lines or my own artwork which has a vintage national park style. I am not interested in "generic climbing art like carabiners/ropes and random mountains and stuff'", even if it's original. If it features a mountain or rock, the mountain/route has to be identifiable. I have several original canvases and prints of my own art around the apartment and some art from friends but I really want to start a wall of featuring other artists' work!

Locations that are significant to me: Red Rock NV; Southern California (Joshua Tree, Tahquitz, Woodson); Utah (Indian Creek, Moab area desert towers, Zion); PNW Volcanoes (Hood, Rainier, Adams, St. Helens, Three Sisters); New England (Cathedral, Whitehorse, Cannon, Rumney), Oregon (Smith Rock*, my current local crag) *Would love more artwork from local Oregon/WA artists!

If you know any climber/artists who have a shop up, please link me!

**I put this in the "general climbing" forum instead of "For Sale" to maybe boost some artists. :)

Hey! I’m a single line and watercolour artist based in Vancouver, CA that does lots of climbing work. My most up to date is my Instagram @shandrostudios. I have a link to a website & I’m in the process of setting up an Etsy too! I do customs as well. My work is a bit disorganized online but I’ve attached some samples of available work, some of it done plein air. The best way to contact me is shandrostudios@gmail.com .

Cheers! And love seeing all the other artists in here!

I love your block art/NP style, let me know if you want to trade a mont blanc lines poster for one of yours.
