Best sport climbing near Charlotte?

I'm moving to Charlotte over the summer and would love any recommendations for crags in the area to visit! Looking for areas with sport / boulders of any grade. Thank you! 

The closest sport climbing to CLT is Crowders. Some people hate it, others appreciate it for what it is. The bolt spacing in NC can get fairly runout, but nothing some gear cant patch up (usually anyways). There are also some good boulders a couple exits down 85 that are part of Crowders.

If you go north about 1-2 hours you can get to Pilot which has a solid amount of sport climbing but can get very busy on nice days. Moores has quality bouldering near Pilot and lots of trad climbing.

Rocky Face is an old quarry turned climbing spot with much more gym like bolt spacing and easy access to set up top ropes. The routes aren't much to write home about, but it's at least real rock and outside. Hard to beat being able to belay from the parking lot.

Then there's WNC where tons of amazing climbing can be found. Give me a shout when you move and want to move over stone

Moores Wall is the best close bouldering. It's about an hour and a half from CLT. Rumbling Bald is better, but slightly further. Pilot Mountain for sport close to Hanging Rock State Park where Moores Wall is. Crowders isn't too bad depending on where you are from. Hidden Wall at crowders is good and avoids the rough approach, if you can climb 5.11-5.12. Only one decent 10b @ hidden wall.

Rocky Face is around an hour away from charlotte. Good mix of routes. Gets super hot during the day so go during overcast weather or in the morning/evening
