Camping Near Clear Creek Canyon

Are there any good places that I could camp or sleep in my car for free around clear Creek Canyon. I'm looking to go bouldering for a couple of days and did not see too many options.

Technically you’re not allowed to camp there, fwiw. There’s an ordinance in the City of Golden that doesn’t allow for camping in parking lots anywhere.
