I want to spend the night in new paltz in my car anyone know any spots I saw an old post that said the Tops in new paltz allows it but I called and they said they don’t anyone know any other spots thanks |

Check out the app RV Parky. |
|
Search airb&b for available rentals, park there! |

Obviously if you call Tops they will say no. But it's not realistic they'll have a person going around all night looking. |

Its no fun and counter productive parking in a spot that gets you rousted in the middle of the night by security or the police. Is Kingston the closest wally's? how about planet fittness? |
|
Im curious how this goes for you as I am in a similar boat, want to sleep in the car but not sure where (for this summer) My thought was to go over to Poughkeepsie; there is a Planet Fitness 27 minutes away from Mohawk. I get that that is far but if your in most other climbing destinations that is a casual drive. I'd also imagine being a bit farther away from the climbing scene would be good. |

The Walmart in Ellenville is much closer than Kingston. You could reach out to BCs to see if it's cool to park in their lot behind the Walgreens in NP, it's pretty tucked away. |

No overnight parking at Ellenville Walmart. |

Whatever happened to just parking on any old residential street in new Paltz? Just don’t make a scene and you’d have no problem, easy. Don’t overthink it |

Rest in piece camp slime/MUA... slept many a night in my car there... If you got up early you could probably crash at the coxing kill parking lot i would be shocked if anyone was poking around there at night... beat the gate attendant though! |

Arthur W wrote: It's up to the local managers. https://www.walmartlocator.com/rv-parking-at-walmart/ Yet on their interactive map (link is on the page above), it shows that the Napanoch store (not Ellenville, btw) allows overnight parking. |
