Hey everyone,

I recently had a torn down jacket and used something similar to tenacious tape.

Not sure why the tape didnt hold up well.  it kept peeling after couple days.  So i used two patch tapes.

One tape on the inside where the goose feather are at, and another take on top and sandwiched the two tape together.

This formed a very good seal and the feather cant escape.

Here is a video about what I mean.

Hope this help if you were struggling with the tenacious tapes or repair.

How about a needle and thread instead. Spend a couple more minutes than me, and I’m sure it would look even nicer.

There is a different company called Kenyon that makes ripstop repair tape that works way better than the clear repair tape. It is way more flexible, matches better, and is cheaper.

I've been replacing my old tape as they peel with the Kenyon tape and have nothing but good things to say about it.

Sail supply is your best bet. I use Sailrite for repair tapes but there are plenty of suppliers. They have many types depending on what you're looking for.
Kenyon likely just white labels sail tape.

enjoy.
