Rab xenair vs OR helium down

Kind of torn between both of these for shaded Multi pitch belays over the top of a grid gleece. Bought a sierra designs whitney hoddie and its too tight in the shoulders and armpits and restricts my movement. Unsure if i shoukd just size that up and have the sleeves and hem be linger or look into one of these as an option. Wanting something windproof and packable into its own pocket for space saving. Warmer days ill toss my ferrosi on but looking for that next step warmer that in a punch ill also be able to climb in if it really starts to nip even off of the belay. |

Get a vest if you actually want to climb in it. |

Better mobility and no sleeves to get chewed up on rock. |

Jeremy Bultman wrote: Vests are really great summer belay jackets for when things get chilly, no real protection so not suitable for the alpine but ideal for summer rock but a houdini will add more protection than the xenair. |

that guy named seb wrote: Gotcha yea im looking less for summer. For instance was in Black velvet canyon in Nov and i was in my normal layers of grid fleece under the Ferrosi and the grid fleece alone was fine for climbing but at the belays even the fleece and ferrosi was a bit cold still with the wind that kicks through there sometimes |
