Anyone have experience with or recommendations for a 1-day guided climbing trip out of Barcelona?
My wife and I will be there in March. We're still debating whether to do single-pitch sport or multi-pitch trad. It'd be preferable if the guide provides the equipment (sans shoes) and transportation. We are experienced climbers pushing 5.13/5.14.
I found several options, but would be nice to hear any first-hand experience with them:
May I ask why on earth you need a guide when climbing those grades. The crag is so easy to access. It's a pretty straight forward drive (or catch public transport from Barna/Barcelona).
1.Sant Benet area (all the pinnacles located to the west of the monastery) holds the best rock of Montserrat. It's also where free climbing started.
2. Cavall Bernat hosts the multi-pitch climbing both free and aid. Access by car from the main road. There is a fully serviced hut where you can stay if you like. The hut is located to the cliff.

Hoping the guide will provide transportation, climbing equipment (which we don't want to travel with for a single day of climbing across a 2-week trip), and expedite the crag-finding experience for us.
