null Sale: Feathered Friends 8000M suit for serious mountains and climbers. This suit got me to the summit of Everest, in 40mph winds and -40temps in a complete whiteout, even after our oxygen ran out just below the Hillary Step. It also kept me warm and with free movement pulling a sledge on Antarctica and summitting Vinson Massiff, so I think it’s a pretty lucky suit! It was only used those two expeditions and it has a couple inch crampon tear in rear sealed with tape, you know dirtbag style. It is unisex and will fit someone around 5’6” - 5’9”. You can see in photos of me on summit the amount of fabric’billow’. The buyer will definitely want to try on before buying, fit is obviously super important. I paid $1200 and they go for $1400 now, but I’m asking $600 obo (can’t put a price on your life!)

Brand new account. Pictures come from a review on feathered friends website. Scam likely. Buyer beware.

I mean, the review on the FF website is posted by a guy that matches this MP profile. There's also plenty of detail that likely wouldn't be there if it were a scam. He also offers to let you try it on, which is pretty not-scam-like. I agree buyer should (always) use caution but this seems legit to me.

Matthew, you need to re-read the seller's post... The seller insists that potential buyers TRY THE SUIT ON before buying it... Kinda hard to defraud somebody like that, don't you agree? You should delete your comment -- and maybe apologize for going off half cocked, while you're at it.

It wouldn't be hard for a scammer to impersonate the real Mitch and try and do a deposit or shipping scam to "try on". Nothing I've seen on here indicates for sure one way or the other. I never said for sure it was a scam. New account is 1 red flag, publiclly available pictures are another, details matching a publicly available review is another. I still think that potential buyers should be wary. (As always, especially here) no offense intended to Mitch (real or scammer)

Hi Mitch, do you have a picture of the suit in its current condition? I’d like to see the instep of the ankles, crotch and neck stitching, and any other high-wear areas if possible. Also stains lol Thanks!

Hi Ben, no wear areas or stains thankfully. I’ve stored them well after the two expeditions and except for the tear in bum - it’s perfect for the right size. Are you doing a 8000?
