Does anybody know how to do the side to side adjustment of the heel plate/lever unit (see picture) on Silvretta 500 bindings? Haven't been able to find a manual or anything online

Talking about the black plate that connects the heel binding lever. I know they can slide side to side somehow, but can't figure out what the adjustement mechanism is.

Also if anyone has a manual for them that they'd be willing to send pictures or a pdf of that'd be great.

Thanks!

I have these bindings but am confused by your question. There is no side to side adjustment on ski bindings typically? If it releases, you have to push the heel lever forward to get it to reset.

Got these a couple years back and they came like this. See how the one on the left is shifted off center.

There's a little indicator arrow so I'm reasonably confident it's supposed to be able to do this. Guessing it's to account for curvature on a mountain boot, like how crampons curve left or right.

That’s the release mechanism for the heel - it “pops” to the side like that to allow the boot to come out. Flip the heel lever forward and push towards centerline, and it should pop back to center.

Greg is right!

Yeah like Greg said that is your heel release.  sometimes it gets stuck a bit after it releases and takes some force to get it back to center. The scale is your din setting.

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
