The lights used on the TensionBoard come from Aurora Climbing. It looks as simple as cutting out the non-functional LED and connecting the wires to the new LED. I haven't needed to replace any of the LEDs yet, but I do have a few spare light pixels for when I do need to.

You can reach out to their support at support AT auroraclimbing.com to confirm. You should also be able to get spare light pixels from them directly.

I think the tension board uses WS2811 led light strips or something like that. Anything that follows the spec in theory should work.

Second contacting Aurora Climbing about the process of pixel replacement and spare pixels. They usually include spare LED pixels with the LED kit, so they may already be lying around. Also, the LED kit may be covered under warranty (you'd have to contact Aurora re: the terms and how long), but if you replace it with 3rd party pixels you may void that warranty.
