Looking for a new 60L pack for SAR and multi-day winter trips. The biggest issue I personally have, is that I don't see any larger packs that have designated avalanche tool pockets, or back panel access. Does such a pack exist (ice tool compatible is a must as well).

The above issue ignored, I've settled on either a cilogear 60, or Granite Gear blaze 60. Opinions on these two packs, which one you'd pick and why, would be great.

Discontinued now, but the Dakine Guide comes close Dakine Guide.  I actually have one for sale if you're interested.

The HMG Headwall 55L is close to 60L with an avi pocket and ability to carry certain tools.

You can always have a custom pack sewn to spec by Alpine Luddites or Cold Cold World.

The Arcteryx Rescue Pack 50 looks sexy af. All HMG stuff is really nice, as linked above.

I've got one, it's sweet. Great for everything from SAR to climbing to backpacking. Huge, great access options, super comfortable, and has stood up to anything I've done with it super well. Don't pay full price though.

Randy says on his website, he won’t do avalanche gear slots

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
