Anyone have experience with this parka? Seems like a lighter version of the Peak XV plus has a two way zipper. Only thing I can’t find the full weight of down and if it’s sewn through baffles or not.

I have one. I found an old Facebook post from Eddie Bauer saying the size medium has 277 grams of 800 fill down, plus 40 grams of synthetic insulation. Sewn through baffles, but the back and arms are covered in in nylon with no exposed stitches. It's warm but unsure how the baffles will deal with extreme cold. I'm on the fence about bringing it to Alaska.

That's the post. See the comments. EB claims it is warmer than the Peak XV I'm similar, dry conditions. I have a hard time believing that given the difference in fill weight, but it is probably pretty close.

Wow good beta!

If it is warmer than the Peak XV it would be nice to save 1lb and all the volume attached to the Peak XV. Even the EB website says “8000m conditions” which I am not totally sold on haha.

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
