Mountain Project Web Browser Extension Repository
|
This thread serves as a more formal repository for currently-available browser extensions for Mountain Project. Please provide a link and an optional description in your post. To keep it organized and useful, please consider limiting discussions and posts about hypothetical extensions or format your post to make it clear what you're adding. Browser extensions are an actionable way for MP users to improve the site and we want to highlight those tools so that others may benefit from them. We're grateful for your passion in our shared goal to make MP a better resource and more thriving community. If you created one of the pre-existing extensions that I've copied in below or know who did, please reach out! We want to make sure to give credit to the awesome users who have offered up these extensions for the benefit of all. Also, these pre-existing extensions may no longer be supported or functional. |

Mountain Project Send Pyramid (Chrome Extension) [Copied from extension page] View your send pyramid from Mountain Project ticks Level up your outdoor rock climbing with the Mountain Project Send Pyramid. Simply select the type of climb you want to see your send pyramid for (boulder, sport, or trad) and a date range. View the number of climbs you've sent for each grade, organized by send type (onsight, flash, send, redpoint, and pinkpoint). Use this data to help set and achieve your outdoor climbing goals. To make the most out of this extension, make sure your Mountain Project ticks are accurately marked for sends. Happy climbing! |

Mountain Project Tick Cleaner (Chrome Extension) [Copied from extension page] Delete repeated ticks from Mountain Project This extension deletes repeated ticks on Mountain Project. For each route that you've climbed, all ticks except for the "best" one will be deleted. "Best" is defined as follows: * First, ticks' numbers of pitches are compared. Ticks with more pitches are considered better. * Next, ticks' styles are compared. Onsights are considered the best, then clean sends, and so on. * Next, ticks' dates are compared, with earlier ticks considered better. * As a final tiebreaker, ticks' IDs are compared. A lower ID (indicating that a tick was recorded earlier) is considered better. This extension as written as a companion to mpticks.web.app/ . The general idea is that you can periodically import your Mountain Project ticks into mpticks and then use this extension to delete repeated ticks from Mountain Project. |

MP-Block (Chrome Extension) [Copied from extension page] block users in MP For muting or blocking forum users on mountainproject.com. |

Zander this stuff is pretty cool!!!! |

The MP API was deprecated, nothing new on that front. These are web extensions made available by/for the public. I'm happy working for MP and onX :) More than enough to keep me busy. |
|
The send pyramid no longer works for me and I have confirmed that it is still installed. Stopped working after the OnX login switch, I believe. |

Firefox Add-on for when the weather fails to load on an area page. A button is inserted that takes you to the NOAA forecast for the GPS coordinates listed on the area page. |
