Came across this on facebook and was wondering what peoples thoughts are.

Don't know how large or small the scale the operation is intended to be, but Im curious. 

it could be terrible if people without cars could get to the cliff more easily?

Imagine having some kind of epic and you miss the bus back.

There is a bus back to NYC from New Paltz.  It's not as if once you miss your transport, you'll never find your way home.  (And people do give rides to others, in my experience.)

I imagine that there are many scenarios for this business.  If it works like my ski club, it will thrive on a limited basis with carefully guarded plans and funds.  If it's not well-managed, it will suffer from inconsistent availability and bookings and payments and will eventually sink.
