Stocking Stuffers for Climber
What are some simple ideas to buy a climber. Think stocking stuffers or secret Santa. |
Hand care is always good for that kind of gift – hand salve, chalk, climbing tape, skin file, finger massager, hand warmers, etc. |
Brushes |
Hand warmer pouches will be appreciated by anyone who climbs in cold conditions |

full disclosure that I am an owner of this company but https://www.firstascentcoffee.com/collections/hand-crafted-instant-coffee gas gift card for road trips. guidebooks are always something I want but don't like to spend my money on |

1+ for Rhino Skin products, tape, and chalk. |

Black Totems. Bonus points if you place them and hang the stocking. Best to use three per stocking for redundancy. Remember, cam lobes that are exposed to fireplace smoke have been known to microfracture, so it's best to send them to me for proper disposal after Christmas. |
crabs, chalk, handcare, gift card to REI/VISA or cash that can be spent at their discretion |
Koala phone harness |
If they're still using accessory cord as a prussik, maybe a Sterling Hollowblock. A rechargeable headlamp. |
Anybody know what those cards that go on gear loops which depict how to tie certain knots? That's be a good one. |
Hitori shoe chalk and tension shoe spray are some arguably useless but new-ish stocking stuffers that most climbers wouldn’t already have. Imo a perfect stocking stuffer because I wouldn’t buy them myself but I’d be curious to try if someone else bought it for me |

Belay glasses |
C3s or metolius ultralights with thumbloops |
I’ve been enjoying having a Edelrid pure slider carabiner on my rack for the past couple of years. |
a small(or better yet large) sack of grass. |
Nice socks, athletic tape for cracks and stuff, small and lightweight first aid kit, or general outdoor stuff(sunglasses, chapstick, bug spray, etc.) |
