Hey guys, I figured I'd put this out there and see if anybody bites. We're looking for somebody who wants to tail us on certain climbing days to help shoot for our Youtube channel, Headpoint Handbook.

The philosophy of the channel is to tell the story of the quiet subculture of crushers in the gunks and hopefully bring more exposure to all the amazing 5.12s and 13s around here. Unfortunately, my wife and I aren't local, so it is difficult to coordinate with the locals to film their projects, which I love almost as much as climbing. We get it done, but some days fall through.

On days that we get up, it's hard to pull locals from their projects to come film on ours. Filming good angles, jumaring fixed lines and the logistics of it all can be a pain in the ass if you're a climber who simply wants to climb. We also have a lot of re-filming to do, as I didn't conceive of the channel until after sending many of the classics with only chossy butt shot footage. We have a camera and all the rigging knowledge. Obviously, you could use your own if you'd like. My wife is a senior editor at a production company in Manhattan, so she does all the editing. Our production value suffers because there's only so much we can film if it's the two of us. When all the stars align, we do get some really epic footage of amazing lines in the gunks. I'd like to align those stars a bit more often.

You can check our channel at Headpoint Handbook, or check me out on instagram @ strengthsostrong if you want to get a feel for our style. If you're psyched on filming, and also psyched on pushing yourself, this is also a great opportunity to steal beta and TR belays on some hard stuff in the gunks. DM me if you want to shred with us! The grade you climb doesn't matter.

This is our latest video.
