Mountain Equipment in Canada

Wondering if anyone has any info on where I'd be able to source Mountain Equipment (not MEC) clothing, specifically their belay jackets, in Canada. I haven't been able to find anything, if anyone has a distributor or knows of a store that ships internationally, I'd appreciate it! |

Have you tried their customer service dept? They are pretty helpful. I'm UK based so if you don't have any luck with that shoot me a message/email and I'll see if we can work out another way. |

Noah, I live in the states but ran into an issue where I couldn’t import or buy a Gasherbaum mountain equipment parka as the US importer didn’t carry it so it was blocked. i found one from a supplier in the UK and with some googling and a phone call got it sent to a shipping store close to the supplier where they relabeled it and sent it on to me. Just made sure the store was ok with sending it to a uk address ( obviously not the one tied to my credit card) and a call to the shipping store manager and a heads up when it was on its way. It worked great to get around their draconian US importer “ rules”. I did , btw, reach out to the importer to try and buy it though them and was told to sod off in a pretty brusk manner… so I didn’t feel bad figuring out a workaround! Great parka! Good luck. |

Small shop near here, Savage Mtn Gear, sells Mtn Equipment in store. You'd need to call. They might ship to you https://www.savagemtngear.com/ |

Noah, i don’t remember offhand but do a google search and see who has it in stock. Great parka with filling to overall weight numbers that are perhaps the best of any parka and I’m a big fan of the gore infinium fabric layer. |
