This is probably a long shot, but I have a friend asking if I want to go to GBNP for various reasons (caving, the total eclipse, etc.) and last time I was in that area I found some climbing opportunities. I did manage to solo some stuff, but could do so much more with a belay!

If memory serves there are at least two walls which do not require a bush whack and you can almost drive all the way up to. I have lots of experience doing this kind of thing, but it's difficult to find keeners in that part of the country.

If this weekend doesn't work but you'd be keen to do something similar, you should let me know. I've found dozens of areas with potential, but the adventurous spirit seems to be dead in this county.

I was just out that direction last month and saw some limestone walls that could have world famous climbing if developed. A few rough dirt roads led up to the cliffs, but (as far as I know) there hasn't been any climbing there. For example: maps.app.goo.gl/HAdc7rA318Y…

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
