Portugal - Northern portugal, climbing info?

I will be in Northern Portugal for 2 weeks and am planning to climb. I am having trouble finding detailed information on climbing areas, routes, how to get to, topos, etc. I purchased ‘PORTUGAL Rock climbs on the western tip of Europe’ but it is actually remarkably limited in detail for any single area (basically has a single area with a handful of fairly difficult routes for each location). I have looked at the various Europe climbing websites (27crags, thecrag, climbingaway.fr, ukclimbing), but do not see enough detail to find specific routes.

Does anyone have more information on how to obtain more detail on northern Portugal climbing areas? What do the Portuguese use for guidance? Is there another Portuguese guidebook (I do not care if it is in Portuguese)?

Thanks

Hi Anthony. In north Portugal you can go to o La Penela do Geres. But it's clasic climb and self protection routes about 3 or 4 pitches.

When are you coming? I am from Galicia (Spain) just nort from Portugal.

I can fix a weekend to go climbing in Vigo área,  near from nort Portugal.

You can check Monte Galiñeiro or Faro Budiño, nice sport climbing áreas, not far from Portugal

Sorry about my english..

This is a nice bookstore (I've bought stuff from them many times):

https://www.kletterfuehrer.net/alpinkletterfuehrer/

They don't seem to have anything for the north of Portugal specifically; the guidebook for the stuff right across the border in the NW corner of Spain looks cool though.

And two guidebooks for (central Portugal) Lisbon area.

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
