Hello there,

You know what I need help with. I stand in my double boots for 14+ hour days. The footsies are sooo stinky after a trip. What can I do?

I switched to cotton socks and this helps a lot. I also dry my socks next to a Yankee candle after every trip. You can go with whatever flavor you want, but I find the Autumn Wreath to be most effective.

Scrub your feet with soap and a stiff bristle brush in the shower, remove excess callous buildup, dry your boots thoroughly, and spray the insides of all your shoes with a disinfectant when they start to smell.

My climbing shoes are getting a bit niffy.

I spray disinfectant into them, not they smell like climbing shoe AND disinfectant. Pretty repulsive, but my feet are fine after washing.

I put silica drying packets in my shoes when I'm not wearing them. This has killed the smell in my shoes.

 Wool socks and Dr Scholl's.

The OP is in double boots, so winter climbing...so cotton socks are a no.

After washing your feet, rub them with rubbing (isopropyl) alcohol.  Then put whatever socks you're wearing on. . .

Agree with this. I bought a whole "ladies" pedicure kit, and I go to work on those dogs twice a month.  Keeping the dead skin off your feet makes a huge difference.
