When did BD stop using Chouinard logo?

Does anyone know the last year the actual "C" in a diamond logo was stamped on gear? From what I could find it was at least 1994, but I couldn't find anything definitive. 

It was later than that. My guess was early 2000’s. 

They went From Chouinard Equipment to Black Diamond Equipment right around 1990 after the lawsuits.   Don’t know exactly when the logo changed but probably very soon after.

Here is their 1991 winter catalog.

The gear in the catalog is branded Black Diamond, not Chouinard.

I'm sure their agreement with Chouinard allowed them to sell old stock with the diamond C logo until it was exhausted, so you could have bought the old logo stuff quite some time afterwards.

Thanks for posting the catalog. I think you are right about the continued sale of old stock. Seems new logo came about around 2000 like Graham said above.

To be clear, for many years the Black Diamond logo included the diamond C. On the left and right side appeared "BD" and "USA" respectively.
