Boa fit system
|
Not partaking in winter sports or trail running, this thing is king of a revelation to me. How has it not made the transition to climbing shoes? This guy is tired of velcro straps stretching and laces loosening. Shoes mfgs, start using this please and thanks |

I wouldn't want them on my climbing shoes. They would could interfere with the rock while crack and face climbing. Slab climbing might be ok. You could just add your own laces and report back. Oops.... Edited link. |

Agreed I wouldn't want them on climbing shoes. The dial mechanisms break when they run into rock (I know from mtb). |

What is wrong with laces? The only reason I want boa is because I'm exerting a ton of force on my snowboard boots, and I want to be able to quickly tighten them under tension. Climbing shoes don't need to be that tight or quickly adjustable. After a pitch, take your shoes off, or make them tighter. Takes 20 seconds. |

Ripped a boa clean off of a shoe when it hit a rock. |
